What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a bilingual (English/German) pro with a passion for innovative teaching and creating engaging learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management and employees at the locations in implementing the Edukind pedagogical concept
  • Ensuring and controlling educational quality using the existing management tools
  • Revising and further developing the pedagogical concept
  • Carrying out regular observations with definitions of measures
  • Supporting management in the assessment of challenging childcare situations
  • Employee training (e.g., room concept, pedagogical concept)
  • Induction of new employees and their deputies in the area of pedagogy
  • Assisting managers and employees with educational questions
  • Further development of internal and external processes in the area of pedagogy
  • Management of and collaboration in projects

Qualifications:

  • Pedagogical training at the higher technical college or university of applied sciences level or
    (e.g., childhood pedagogue, social pedagogue, remedial pedagogue, teacher)
  • Additional education or certification e.g. Erlebnispädagogik
  • Up-to-date expertise in early childhood education and care.
  • Knowledge of the family and supplementary school care and education sectors.
  • Proven project experience
  • High understanding of customer service.
  • Personality who thinks and acts in a networked manner with diplomatic skills.
  • High level of professionalism and enjoyment of working with children.
  • Passion for working with children and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and German languages.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a bilingual or multicultural daycare setting (preferred).
